All City Art Club

We seek to fill in the gaps; to encourage creativity, ingenuity and expose a bright underbelly to areas and residents that have experienced hardship that may not have a bright outlook on their future because they’ve been forgotten. The project will also give the talented artists & creators from those communities a chance to display their gifts through murals &street art.

Nitika Collins-Achalam is the principle instructor with True Grit Yoga. Nitika’s yoga roots run deep as her mother planted the Hatha seed when she was just a small girl. A life long love of all things yoga has been blooming ever since!

When she completed her first 200 hour teacher training, instructing others immediately seemed so inherent. Nitika constantly seeks out new training in order to grow her own practice and teaching. She has studied with yoga greats in order to safely guide students through sequences in Integral Hatha Yoga Intermediate, Yoga for Children, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Athletes and most recently, Yoga for Arthritis.

Nitika believes that every persons yogic journey is unique and each one takes real work, but no one has to go it alone. Her passion for the science of yoga shines through with every session she teaches.

The 18th thru the 22, The Mothership hosted a weekend long gaming convention for fans of classic tabletop gaming, Dungeons and Dragons and the like.  There was a beer made just for the event. The drawing rally produced some pretty crazy monsters, oh and we had a wizard van and some kittens there just to make it legit.
